Pack the Pool Volunteer Sign-Up
June 7th & 8th
Thank you for your interest in volunteering during The Care Service's second annual Pack the Pool Food Collection. This year, we are holding a Swim Party at Wapelhorst Park in conjunction with this collection.
We are in need of volunteers for both the Pack the Pool Food Collection and the Pack the Pool Swim Party. Volunteers in 8th grade or below must have an adult sign up with them for the shift. Descriptions of each volunteer postion are listed near each time slot. The Pack the Pool Food Collection will be held Friday, June 7 and Saturday, June 8 from 9am - 3pm. The Pack the Pool Swim Party will be held Friday, June 7 from 7:30pm - 10pm.

200 people will join us on July 27 for an evening celebrating the music and accomplishments of Taylor Swift. The event will feature rounds of themed music bingo as well as other games, raffles, and surprises. Proceeds will provide assistance, support, and resources to individuals and families in our community facing housing crisis or food insecurity.

Pickleball Tournament
October 12, 2024 at Chicken N Pickle
Join us at Chicken N Pickle in St. Charles on October 12 at 10am for The Care Service's inaugural Pickleball Tournament! This day will feature fun and friendly competition, delicious food, and awesome prizes!
This social tournament is for players of all skill levels, whether you're a seasoned pro or just getting started! With a maximum of 36 teams, don't delay and register your team of 2 today! Each team registration ticket is for a 2 player team and includes participation in the social tournament as well as a gift card toward food at Chicken N Pickle.
Anyone is welcome to come by and cheer on your favorite team! Spectator tickets are available for purchase that include a $5 gift card toward food at Chicken N Pickle and 5 raffle tickets toward the fun prizes we have available! Spectator tickets are not necessary to watch the tournament.
All ticket purchasers will also be in the drawing for some great attendance prizes!
We can't wait to see you for some entertaining pickleball while supporting our mission to fight homelessness and hunger in our community!

Pack the Pool Food Collection

Hunger doesn’t take a summer break.
Nearly 10,000 area children face food insecurity, a number that grows during the summer. Help The Care Service “Pack the Pool” with food and summer snacks. Donations to fill our pool can be dropped off at The Care Service during the Pack the Pool collection event between 9am – 3pm on Friday, June 7 and Saturday, June 8 or any weekday during regular office hours.
Interested in being a Pack the Pool collection site this year? Complete this form to let us know you plan to participate.
Donations may also be dropped off during the Pack the Pool Swim Party on June 7th at Wapelhorst Pool.
