Note: We are careful stewards of the funds derived from our donors. Currently $0.90 or more of every dollar goes into our programs’ funds, directly benefiting our families. Only $0.10 or less of every dollar goes toward operational and administration expenses. We strive to find ways to keep these expenses low, leaving the maximum amount possible for the benefit of our clients. We periodically update this information to keep you informed of how your donations are being spent.

Corporate Giving and Matching FundsDid you know that many employers will match the donations you make to charitable organizations?  Your particpation in your company’s Matching Gift Program can double the value of your gift to the Care Service. They may even have a corporate giving program established, for which we can apply for grant funding for our programs. Why not ask? Most corporations look for ways to give back to their communities, so they may welcome your suggestion to add the Care Service to their list of charities. We are local and serve those right here in our local communities. If your employer would like to learn more about us, call and we can help, (636) 441-1302, ext. 263. You can also direct them to our video, which describes our programs. $12 for 12The $12 for 12 program is vitally important to the on-going efforts of the Care Service and we need your help to continue offering assistance to the children in need and their families. Your contribution of $12 or more a month for 12 months will significantly impact the lives of all we serve and allow us to provide the food, safe and secure home environment and proper shoes and school supplies for the many children in need.

Capital CampaignIn the summer of 2009, the Care Service purchased and moved into an existing building directly across from the previous location, creating the Tri-County Outreach Center. We continue to strive to raise the funds to make the necessary changes and upgrades. |

| Your contribution to the I Care capital campaign will be used for critical needs and ongoing renovation of the place where we serve those most in need. These funds allow us to continue to be a one-stop shop for social services in St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren counties. One of our current critical needs is the repair or replacement of our leaky roof. Our original goal with this campaign was $2.5 million and thanks to the support of everyone in the community, we have only $700,000 left to raise in order to meet that goal. Thank you! | |||||

Check out www.eScrip.com to have percentages of your everyday purchases contributed by participating businesses to the Care Service. Schnuck’s eScrip cards are available at the Care Service or just call (800) 931-6258 to sign up.
Use www.GoodSearch.com to set up GoodSearch as your default search engine. Specify Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Service during the setup and GoodSearch donates 50% of its sponsored search revenue to us. The money GoodSearch donates comes from its advertisers – neither you nor the Care Service spends a dime!
