Line for Food Pantry

The Care Service Food Pantry is the largest food pantry in St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren Counties of Missouri and has been operating since 1981. Each week, food is distributed to low-income families and individuals who do not have the means for purchasing adequate supplies.
By providing the families in our area with food, we allow them to use their financial resources for other necessities such as housing, utilities and transportation and move toward becoming stable and independent.

Recipients of the Food Pantry must have an income that falls at or below 50% of the area median income level. In addition, a family (or person in charge of the household) is required to come to the Care Service to be certified.

Over 65 volunteers show up weekly to work 9 different shifts, picking up supplies from over 18 locations, sorting, preparing, and distributing food and household goods to approximately 120 families.
